Okay, so these are not completely homemade. If you are like I am, and you don't want to spead hours in the kitchen baking, but you want your waffles to taste super awesome, then this is the recipe for you!!
Okay, Here's what you'll need!! :)
4 cups Bisquick Mix (If I am going to use a mix, I prefer this one over all the others out there, it tastes the closest to being homemade).
2 and a half cups whole milk (I know, not real healthy, but it gives the waffles the best flavor....you can also use 2% or skim....it just won't taste as yummy!)
4 tablespoons butter (melted)
2 eggs
*********************************************
Alrighty, the first thing you need to do is preheat your waffle iron. We have a Winnie the Pooh waffle iron that we love to death, but you can use any iron. :)
Now you'll want to melt the butter. If you don't know how to measure butter, look on the stick and you'll see that it marks the tablespoons. All you have to do is cut it to where it says 4 tablespoons, put it in a bowl, and stick it in the microwave for a minute and a half.
While the butter is in the microwave, measure all the rest of the ingredients into a pretty big bowl. Then throw in the butter (not literally....lol!! :) hahaha!!)
Mix the batter JUST UNTIL IT IS COMBINED!! The secret to good waffles is to not over mix. :)
Okay, now all you have to do is spoon the batter onto your waffle iron.
As you can see, the batter is somewhat lumpy. :) I know that all waffle irons are different, so just cook your waffles until the alarm goes off, or in our case the light goes off. I wish our waffle iron had a alarm, because we have to stay right next to the waffles in order to know when they are done.....but it's ok!!!
They're done!! Yay!!
Keep cooking those waffles until you are out of batter. :)
Here's what they looked like when they were done (but we had a lot more!! hahaha!! I love this recipe because it makes enough so that everybody in our family can have 2 waffles).
Serve with jelly, honey, syrup, or butter (we were out of syrup as you can see!! :D)
My family loves these waffles, and yours will too!! :)
